How to convert PDF to Word

    1. Choose your PDF.
    2. Press Convert to Word and check the text preview.
    3. Download the .docx file and open it in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or WPS Office to edit.

This is the fastest way to reuse the words in a PDF: editing an old CV, copying a report into a new document, or fixing a letter. If you need the exact page design, you'll have to rebuild the layout in Word.

    Questions

Why doesn't my Word file look like the PDF?

A PDF stores where every letter sits on the page, not the document structure. This tool rebuilds the text and paragraphs, so you get clean, editable text without the original layout.

My PDF is a scan. Can I convert it?

Scans are pictures of paper with no text inside, so there's nothing to copy. Text recognition (OCR) is needed for that, which this tool doesn't do yet.

    Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The text is read and the Word file is created in your browser.
