Make a transparent PNG in seconds
Remove the white or plain background from a logo, signature, stamp, product photo or clipart and download it as a PNG with a transparent background, ready for Canva, Word, PowerPoint, websites and T-shirt prints. How to use it
- Choose the image. The background colour is detected for you.
- Move How much to remove until the background is gone but the picture is complete.
- Check it on the dark and blue previews, then press Download transparent PNG.
Questions
Does it work on photos of people?
It works best when the background is one plain colour, like white paper, a plain wall or a green screen. For busy backgrounds (a room, a street), the photo needs a cut-out tool that understands people, which this tool doesn't do.
Why is white inside my logo also gone?
Choose "Only the background around the picture" under Where. Then only the background connected to the edges is removed.
There's a thin white line around the edges. How do I fix it?
Raise Edge smoothness a little, or raise How much to remove. The tool also takes the background colour out of edge pixels to reduce halos.
Can I make my signature transparent?
Yes. Or use the Signature Maker, which also lets you draw or type a signature and change the ink colour.
Is my image uploaded?
No. It's processed in your browser and never leaves your device.
