Age calculator by date of birth: how it works
Enter your date of birth to see your exact age today, or on any other date. It also shows your age in total months, weeks and days, and the countdown to your next birthday.
How is exact age calculated?
It counts complete years, then complete months, then the remaining days, taking each month's real length and leap years into account.
Can I check my age on a future date?
Yes. Change the "Age on" date, for example to the last date of a job application.
How to check your age for a government job
- Enter your date of birth exactly as on your CNIC or B-Form.
- Set "Age on" to the closing date in the job advertisement (most ads count age on that date).
- Open "Check a job's age limit", enter the limits and any relaxation, and press Calculate age.
Questions
If the limit is 30 years and I'm 30 years and 2 months, can I apply?
It depends on the department. Some treat you as over-age the day after your 30th birthday; others allow you until the day before your 31st. The calculator shows both dates. Read the ad's rules or ask the department.
Which date of birth should I use?
The one on your CNIC, B-Form or Matric certificate. Departments check age against these documents.
Is my date of birth saved?
No. The calculation happens in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere.
