URL encode and decode
Links can't contain spaces, Urdu letters or some symbols, so they are written as % codes (a space becomes %20). Encode turns text into a safe link part; Decode turns %-codes back into readable text, and also shows each part of a link and its parameters, which helps when checking tracking links, WhatsApp links and API calls.
Questions
Which encode option should I use?
Use "A value inside a link" for search words, names or a message you put after ?text=. Use "A whole link" only to clean up a full address that has spaces or Urdu in it.
What does %20 mean?
It is a space. Every %-code is a character written as numbers, so links work everywhere.
