DOCX to PDF converter: how it works
DOCX is the file type Microsoft Word has used since 2007. Choose your .docx file below: the document is read on your device and laid out on A4 or Letter pages, then you save it as a PDF. Nothing is uploaded, which makes it safe for CVs, applications and contracts.
Can I convert an old .doc file?
Not directly. Open it in Word, Google Docs or WPS and save it as .docx first, then convert it here.
Will my CV look exactly the same?
Text, headings, lists, tables and images are kept. Complex designs with text boxes or columns are simplified, so check the preview before saving.
How to convert Word to PDF
- Choose your Word document (.docx). It opens in the preview on your own device.
- Pick the paper size, margins and font if you like.
- Press Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in the print window.
What's kept: paragraphs, headings, bold, italic, underline, bullet and numbered lists, tables, images and links. What's simplified: exact fonts, colours, text boxes, columns, headers and footers. For simple documents (letters, applications, assignments, reports) the result is clean and professional; for designed documents, check the preview first.
Questions
Is my document uploaded?
No. It is converted inside your browser and never leaves your device, which makes it safe for CVs, contracts and personal letters.
Can I convert .doc files?
Old .doc files (Word 97–2003) need to be saved as .docx first. Open the file in Word, Google Docs or WPS Office and choose Save As → .docx.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. On Android Chrome, press Save as PDF, then choose "Save as PDF" as the printer. On iPhone, use the Share button → Print, then pinch out on the preview and share or save the PDF.
Why does my document look different?
Word documents can contain advanced layout that only Word can reproduce exactly. If you need a pixel-perfect copy, use File → Save As → PDF inside Word, Google Docs or WPS.
