Precaution makes Sehri end earlier and Iftar start later by that many minutes, as many mosque timetables do.

Times are calculated with the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi method (Fajr and Isha at 18°), in Pakistan time. Your local mosque's timetable may differ by a few minutes; for Sehri and Iftar, follow your mosque.

This timetable gives Sehri (end of eating, at the start of Fajr) and Iftar (sunset) times for Rawalpindi for every day of the coming Ramadan, calculated for the city centre (33.57°N, 73.02°E). Ramadan's first day depends on the Ruet-e-Hilal committee's moon sighting, and many mosques add a few minutes of precaution, which you can set above.

Sehri ends at the start of Fajr (true dawn). Each day's time is in the timetable above; stop eating a few minutes earlier to be safe, as your mosque advises.

Can I print or share the Rawalpindi Ramadan timetable?

Yes. Use the Print button for a clean printable timetable, or WhatsApp to send it to family and friends.

    About these prayer times

Prayer times depend on the sun's position at your location, so they change every day and differ from city to city. This page calculates them on your device using the method used by most timetables in Pakistan: the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi (Fajr and Isha when the sun is 18° below the horizon), with Hanafi Asr by default.

    • Sehri ends at the start of Fajr (true dawn).
    • Iftar is at Maghrib (sunset).
    • The Ramadan tab shows the coming (or current) Ramadan, assuming Pakistan starts one day after Saudi Arabia. The Ruet-e-Hilal committee's announcement decides the actual first day.

    Questions

Why are these times different from my mosque's timetable?

Mosques may use a different calculation method, add a few minutes of precaution (ihtiyat), or round times. Differences of 1–5 minutes are normal. For Sehri and Iftar, follow your local mosque.

Hanafi or Shafi'i Asr: which should I choose?

Most people in Pakistan follow the Hanafi school, which has a later Asr time. Ahl-e-Hadith and Shafi'i followers use the earlier Asr time.

My city isn't in the list. What can I do?

Press "Use my location" to calculate times for exactly where you are, or choose the nearest city. Times change by only about a minute for every 15–20 km east or west.

    Does it need the internet?

Once the page has loaded, the times are calculated on your phone, so it keeps working even if the connection drops.
